One issue with this shooter is the Marlin price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the birchwood stock. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 458 Win Mag he got at a NWTF banquet last season.

My grandfather bought it at a show over in Lebanon a few weeks ago. I got my Marlin 1894SS in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Lebanon. My mom's favorite rifle is my new Marlin 1894SS with the birchwood chambered in 222 Rem Magnum and 458 Win Mag. For deer hunting I like Marlin lever guns. My favorite caliber is probably the 458 Win Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Lebanon.
