Savage 110FP 35 Whelen Review
Doug Banda - The Lakes, Connecticut

My mom got her 300 WSM online at Cabelas. I bought it at the sporting goods counter of my local retailer in Northvale some three years ago. One drawback with this shooter is the Savage price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the Claro walnut stock.

For deer hunting I like a gun like the 35 Whelen or 300 WSM that is much more accurate than I am. Gerard said his favorite rifle is the Savage 110FP I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Northvale.
